DESATURATE

Creates a new color from the specified color by decreasing the saturation in the HSL color space.

Syntax

=DESATURATE(color, amount)

Argument	Type	Description
color	Color	The color to desaturate.
amount	Number	The percentage amount to desaturate the given color, from 0 to 1.

=DESATURATE("#bf4040", 0.3)→#996666ff
Desaturate the color #bf4040ff by 20%.
